CARTIA Aspirin 100mg Tablets
Cartia Tablets are used for the prevention of heart attacks and strokes in people who are at risk. They work by keeping the blood thin.
The enteric coating on Cartia tablets prevents the aspirin from being released in your stomach where it could cause gastric upsets and irritations. The aspirin is released lower down in the intestines, where it is absorbed gradually in the blood stream.
Available in 84 or 28 tablet packs.
Aspirin 100mg per tablet, with an enteric coating.
One tablet daily, with food.
Swallow whole (do not crush) with a glass of water.
- You should consult doctor or pharmacist prior to use if you have stomach ulcers (past or present), kidney disease, severe liver disease, or are in late pregnancy.
- Asthmatics sensitive to aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should consult a doctor or pharmacist prior to use.
